Local PDs participate in National Drug Prescription Take-Back on Saturday

CAPE COD – Local Police Department are participating in the 8th National Drug Prescription Take-Back this Saturday, September 26, 2015. Residents can turn in their unused or expired medication for disposal from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at their local police station.

Most departments have a drop off box in the lobby for medication.

All drop-offs are anonymous and no paperwork will be necessary.

Needles and Epi-pens will not be accepted.

Names and labels may be removed from packaging.

All liquid medications should be in double-sealed Ziploc containers.
