BARNSTABLE – The Barnstable Police Department is proud to present to you our two newest officers! Marcus Cunningham and Eric Rogorzenski graduated today from the first session of the Cape Cod Municipal Police Academy. They will continue their training here at the BPD over the next four months before they hit the streets on their own.

EASTHAM – Eastham Police welcome the newest addition to their department, Officer Marc Petersen. Officer Petersen graduated today from the Cape Cod Municipal Police Academy on Joint Base Cape Cod. Officer Petersen grew up in Sandwich and attended Sandwich High School. He went on to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Westfield State University. Officer Petersen will begin his training with us next week, under the guidance of Field Training Officer Greg Plante.
ORLEANS – Congratulations to our new police officers graduating today from the police academy and welcome aboard our two Orleans officers; Ofc. Dedinas and Ofc. McDonough. Great work and stay safe, officers.
CHATHAM – Chatham Police welcomes Officer Elizabeth “Liz” Thompson to the department as our newest police officer. Liz graduated today from the Cape Cod Municipal Police Academy and received the Academic Award for having the highest grade point average in her class. Great accomplishment Liz and welcome to Chatham!!! Congratulations Officer Thompson!!!
