During an interview with Mr. Medeiros he became agitated and stated that he would release a second dog located on the property in an effort to harm the officers.

While officers attempted to place Mr. Medeiros under arrest he resisted and charged officers. They used an Electronic Control Device (“Taser”) to assist with the arrest. Mr. Medeiros was charged with Cruelty to an Animal, Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (dog), Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct.
