FALMOUTH – Falmouth Police report that a car traveling on Sippewisset Road Saturday afternoon lost control and rolled over into the opposite lane. The 25-year-old driver then fled from the scene and was quickly located by police. The man, identified in the police log as Jeremiah Ellis Nelson of Falmouth, was subsequently arrested for Operating under the influence of liquor, Operating negligently to endanger, Marked lanes violation and Leaving the scene of property damage. His girlfriend, a passenger, was uninjured, however he was transported to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
