Man accused of pulling loaded firearm on Wareham Police while under the influence

WAREHAMFrom Wareham Police: On Sunday, September 15, at 12:27 a.m. Wareham Police Officers Matthew Donovan and Robert McLain, along with Special Officers Casey Levesque and Ryan Clark responded to 16 Shady Lane regarding a past road rage incident. At the scene, officers were speaking with an individual when a second person emerged from the house brandishing a firearm, visibly upset and yelling. The officers drew their side arms and ordered the male to put the weapon down. He immediately complied and was secured in handcuffs. The loaded firearm was confiscated as well as a second firearm in the house.

Chad Dunfee, 41, of Wareham, was arrested and charged with carrying a firearm while intoxicated, improper storage of a firearm, and disorderly conduct.
