FALMOUTH – At approximately 1:15 PM Tuesday afternoon, Falmouth Fire Rescue were dispatched to Manor Lane in the Hatchville neighborhood of Falmouth for a person struck by a bobcat type excavator. The victim was treated at the scene and transported to the Falmouth Hospital to meet MedFlight for transport to a mainland trauma center with a severe leg injury. The incident is being investigated by the Falmouth Police Department and OSHA.
