Man arrested for OUI, has license suspended in Yarmouth

YARMOUTH – From Yarmouth Police: On Wednesday April 24, 2019, at 00:54 AM, Yarmouth Police Patrol Officer Jeff Rivett observed a black Ford F-150 traveling west on Route 28 in West Yarmouth.

A check of the vehicle’s registration status showed that the vehicle had an expired inspection sticker.

Patrol Officer Rivett attempted to stop the vehicle but it continued on travelling westbound on Route 28.

The vehicle finally stopped at the intersection of Route 28 and Yarmouth Road and Yarmouth Police Department Patrol Officer Matt Mangano arrived as back up.

The operator was identified as Dustin Kiley.

Kiley was uncooperative and determined to have been drinking alcohol.

Kiley refused to submit to Standardized Field Sobriety testing and also refused to exit the vehicle.

Kiley was removed from the vehicle and placed under arrest.

An inventory of Kiley’s vehicle was conducted, located behind the driver’s seat was an opened cold Coors Light bottle that was approximately 3/4 full.

Kiley was transported to Yarmouth Police Headquarters for booking.

Kiley refused to submit to a chemical test at YPD Headquarters his license was immediately suspended.

Upon completion of the booking process, Kiley was placed in secure cell. The civilian Bail Commissioner set bail at Personal Recognizance and he was subsequently released upon payment of the $40.00 Bail Commissioner fee.

The vehicle Kiley was operating was towed by Mid Cape Collision and secured at their South Yarmouth facility.

Kiley is scheduled for arraignment today in the Barnstable District Court.
