Man charged with B&E after Wareham incident

WAREHAMFrom Wareham Police: On Monday, July 22, at 11:19 a.m. Wareham Police responded to an address on Swifts Beach Road for a possible break and entering. It was reported that a male had forced open a door to a residence, but fled when the occupant said they were calling the police. Within a few minutes Officer John Iacobucci located a person in the area matching the description of the suspect.

Following a brief investigation Joseph Prada-Ruiz, 30, of Wareham, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering in the daytime with intent to commit a felony. He was processed at police headquarters before being brought to Wareham District Court. Officer Zina Kelsch and a detective assisted in the arrest.
