Man just arrested on three warrants facing drug charges

WAREHAM – On Tuesday at about 1:15 PM Wareham Police received an anonymous call about a male dealing drugs at Besse Park. Detectives were in the area and stopped a male matching the description near 191 Main Street. A search of the suspect revealed several pills in unmarked bottles. The man, Esequiel Nieves, 48, of Wareham, was placed under arrest for possession of a class E substance, and possession of class B substance. He was transported to Wareham Police headquarters and then brought to Wareham District Court for arraignment.

This is the second time in several days that Mr. Nieves has been arrested by Wareham Police. On Friday, June 29th he was placed in custody for having three active warrants.
