EASTHAM – A man is safe after his sailboat reportedly capsized on Great Pond in Eastham sometime before 2:30 PM Thursday afternoon. The elderly victim, who was wearing a life jacket, was able to swim to shore on his own and was evaluated by EMTs while officials recovered the boat.
