MASHPEE – Its another reminder of the need to securely fasten your boats and make sure you have contact info on them. Mashpee officials rushed to Mashpee Pond around 11 AM after receiving a report of a small vessel upside down in the pond. Subsequent investigation determined the vessel had apparently broken lose from a spot on the edge of the pond and that luckily no one was missing.
