HYANNIS – A man suffered burns after his motorcycle caught fire in Hyannis around 6:30 PM Saturday. Firefighters responded to the scene on Mitchell’s Way in Hyannis to douse the flames. The victim’s burns were serious enough for EMTs to call for a MedFlight helicopter to land at Barnstable Municipal Airport to fly the victim to a burn center. The incident is under investigation by Barnstable Police.
