FALMOUTH – A motorcyclist was killed after reportedly colliding with a dump truck in Falmouth. The crash happened on Gifford Street not far from the High School about 1:45 p.m. The victim, later identified as Robert Hayden, 68, of Falmouth was pronounced dead at the scene. Gifford Street was closed between Brick Kiln Road and Jones Road for an extended time while Falmouth Police reconstructed the crash as part of the investigation. The Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Section is handling the investigation.
