BARNSTABLE – A motorcyclist was critically injured in a reported collision with a car. The crash happened on Route 132 just south of the Exit 6 ramps to Route 6 about 7:20 PM Saturday evening. Bystanders were reportedly performing CPR on the victim before rescuers from Barnstable and West Barnstable arrived. MedFlight was not available due to weather so the victim was rushed to Cape Cod Hospital. The driver of the BMW sedan stayed at the scene. The occupants of the BMW were evaluated but declined to go to the hospital. The crash is under investigation by Barnstable Police who called for accident reconstruction.
