National Guard issues noise advisory for residents around Joint Base Cape Cod

BOURNE – The Massachusetts National Guard is advising residents in the vicinity of Joint Base Cape Cod that they may experience periodic increase of noise on Feb. 9-10, 2018, during scheduled training exercises on base.

The 101st Field Artillery, Massachusetts Army National Guard, will use blank 105mm salute artillery rounds throughout the day and periodically at night.

Overcast conditions may increase noise and vibrations and smoke may be visible for a short time; however, there is no cause for alarm.

Training dates are subject to change.
