SANDWICH – A person reportedly nearly drowned at Scusset Beach in Sandwich shortly before 11 AM Saturday. The victim was pulled from the water by lifeguards and was conscious when EMTs arrived. The victim was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth for evaluation.
