UPDATED: Jet-Ski mishap leads to near-drowning in Dennis

DENNIS – Dennis Fire reports that they received a call at 2:22 PM for a reported Jet Ski incident near the entrance to Sesuit Harbor.

A 58 year old male from Southington, Ct. along with his daughter were traveling along on the Jet Ski when he lost control and it flipped. The man was thrown from the Jet Ski and swallowed some water on impact. There was no collision involved.

The Dennis Harbormaster responded and retrieved the victims from the water. They brought the victims to the dock area at Sesuit Harbor where Dennis Fire & Rescue personnel treated and transported the victim to Cape Cod Hospital with life threating injuries. The daughter was not injured.
