SANDWICH – A person reportedly nearly drowned in Sandwich. The incident happened about 11 a.m. at Scorton Creek off Route 6A. bystanders pulled the victim from the water before rescuers arrived. The victim, who may have suffered a medical condition while in the water, was rushed to Cape Cod Hospital. Further details were not immediately available.
