YARMOUTH – From Yarmouth Police: This past weekend, a New Bedford couple were placed under arrest for numerous break-ins of motor vehicles that occurred in many towns on Cape Cod in the past few weeks during the overnight hours.
Derek R. Jones, age 43, and Katrina C. Olden, age 25, were caught in the act in Wellfleet and placed under arrest ending their crime spree.
The Yarmouth Police Department Detective Division participated in the investigation and arrest which included the use of fingerprints located at a crime scene and a GPS tracking system.
DeJesus—with 93 priors on his record in Massachusetts—is being held on $15,000 cash bail and Olden on $1,000 cash bail.
The Yarmouth Police Department commends the work of all of the Law Enforcement Agencies involved in this case, including:

• Sandwich
• Wellfleet
• Eastham
• New Bedford
• Barnstable County Sheriff’s Department Crime Scene Unit
Numerous charges are still being compiled by the various agencies involved.
