Nurses step in after two people struck by bus in Edgartown Friday night

EDGARTOWN – Edgartown Police report that Friday night shortly after 10 PM, Police and Ambulance/Fire responded to Church Street for a serious accident involving two pedestrians hit by a bus. They are currently still investigating this accident and cannot release any new details at this time.

Although police cannot elaborate on the incident, they want to thank the two nurses who stepped up to the plate and assisted the two injured parties. The care they provided was crucial, and allowed first responders to render care, and transport the injured people to the hospital quickly.
