One injured in Barnstable crash

BARNSTABLE – at 11: 15 AM Wednesday morning, there was a 2 vehicle accident at Independence Drive and Attucks Lane in Barnstable Village. A Lexus sedan and Volvo SUV collided. One person was transported to Cape Cod Hospital with unknown injuries. A second victim was treated and released at the scene. The Hyannis FD responded with an ambulance to assist. This is the second day in a row that there has been an accident at that intersection about the same time. Barnstable Police are investigating the crash.
