BARNSTABLE – At about 2:30 PM Wednesday afternoon, a Barnstable Police Officer came upon a two vehicle accident at Phinney’s Lane and Old Phinney’s Lane in Barnstable Village. A Honda Accord sedan heading into Hyannis appeared cross into on coming traffic and collide with a Honda CR-V. The Accord then continued along the side of the road hitting a sign and a fence then back across the road before finally stopping . The driver of the Accord was transported to Cape Cod Hospital with unknown injuries. Barnstable Police are investigating the crash.
