HARWICH – One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Harwich around 1:15 PM. The crash happened on Forest Street near the Harwich Port Golf Club. A Jeep Commander appeared to have struck a Mazda wagon on the driver’s side. Airbags appeared to have played a major role in preventing serious injury. Once firefighters used the Jaws of Life to pop the door, she was able to get out and walk to the stretcher. She was transported to Cape Cod Hospital for further evaluation. Harwich Police are investigating the crash.
