BARNSTABLE – At about 7:15 Wednesday morning, there was a accident involving a motorcycle on Route 6A near the Barnstable County courthouse complex in Barnstable Village. The bike and a Honda Element collided. The female driver of the motorcycle was transported to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. Route 6A was closed in both directions and all traffic detoured through the courthouse complex. Barnstable Police are investigating.
