HARWICH – Shortly after 3:30 PM, Harwich Police and Fire-Rescue responded to a 2 car MVC with reported injuries at Depot Street and Old Chatham Road in North Harwich. Upon arrival of rescuers a Chevy pickup truck and a Buick sedan appeared to have collided almost head on with the car receiving significant front end damage. The driver of the pick up truck was transported to the Hospital with what appeared to be non life threatening injuries while the occupant of the car was evaluated by Medics and refused transport. Both vehicles had fluid leaks which were handled by the Firefighters. Traffic on Depot Street was reduced to one alternating lane until the vehicles could be removed by wreckers. The accident is under investigation by Harwich Police.
