Openings still available for Ptown Citizens Police Academy

PROVINCETOWN – The fourth Provincetown Police Department Community-Oriented Citizens Police Academy is scheduled to start in just over one week on October 1st and there are still seats available. Some of the topics that will be covered include a history of the police department, officer’s daily roles and responsibilities, Massachusetts General Law, the court system, a mock crime scene, a mock OUI scene and many other topics. If this academy sounds like something that you are interested in then please submit an application. 

Applications can be obtained by visiting this website http://www.provincetown-ma.gov or in person at the police station.

The deadline to apply is Monday September 28, 2015.
