Operation Safe Ride activated for Cape Cod St. Patricks’s Day parade

YARMOUTH
– In recognition of the 13th Annual Cape Cod St. Patrick’s Parade, the Yarmouth Police Department will activate Operation Safe Ride Home on Friday, March 9th starting at 6:00 PM on and ending at 2:00 AM on Sunday.

Any citizen who needs a free and safe ride home from a Yarmouth licensed liquor establishment should call Town Taxi directly at 508.775.5555.

This Operation Safe Ride Home is funded by the Yarmouth Restaurant Association and involves a free and safe ride home to anyone from any Yarmouth liquor establishment.

Do not drink and drive and if you need a ride home take advantage of this highly successful program which will provide citizens with a free ride home anytime between 6PM on Friday and 2AM on Sunday.

The men and women of the Yarmouth Police Department are dedicated to transforming Yarmouth in to one of the safest communities in the region and we appreciate our long time positive community policing partnerships with Town Taxi and the Yarmouth Restaurant Association.

Please be smart and be safe and best wishes to all for a great Cape Cod St. Patrick’s Parade Weekend!
