Pair faces charges after Vineyard drug bust

– On Tuesday at aproximately 5:30 p.m., members of the Martha’s Vineyard Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 7 Arrowhead Lane in Oak Bluff’s.

The target of the investigation, Jeffrey Sylvia (left) and William Bailey (right) were arrested during the raid. During a search of Sylvia’s bedroom officers seized approximately, 46 grams of heroin, suboxone strips, crushed Percocet pills, marijuana, and approximately $8,934 US currency.

Sylvia was charged with:
– Trafficking CL A (36-100 grams heroin)
– Possession of CL A (heroin w/ intent to distribute (subsequent offense)
– Possession of CL D (marijuana) w/ intent to distribute (subsequent offense)
– Possession of CL B (suboxone)
– Possession of CL B (Percocet)
– Drug Free School Zone (approx.. 300′ from Oak Bluff’s School)

Bailey was charged with:
– Being present where heroin is kept.
