WELLFLEET – From Wellfleet Police: At approximately 11:22 AM, we received a report of a paraglider in the utility lines at White Crest Beach, off Ocean View Drive. Upon our arrival the operator of the paraglider had left the area, believed to be uninjured. We are attempting to identify the operator.
Eversource was called in to turn off power to the area so the paraglider could be safely removed.
Wellfleet PD remained on scene to keep people and traffic away from the paraglider and the incident remains under investigation.
