EASTHAM – Eastham Police report that on Wednesday at 6:54 p.m., they responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian on Route 6 in front of the Four Points Hotel. The pedestrian was attempting to cross Route 6 and was struck by a Subaru sedan travelling south on Route 6. The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was transported to Cape Cod Hospital by the Eastham Fire Department. A second vehicle sustained minor damage as a result of swerving to avoid a second collision. The operators of the two involved vehicles did not sustain any injuries. The crash is currently under investigation by the Eastham Police Department and the Cape Cod Regional Law Enforcement Council Crash Reconstruction Team.
