HYANNIS – From Cape and Islands District Attoney’s Office: At approximately 11:10 AM Tuesday morning Barnstable Police received a call of a body floating in the water at the end of a jetty at Kalmus Beach. The victim was transported to Cape Cod Hospital where she was later declared deceased. The matter remains under investigation by Barnstable Police and State Police detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office however at this time no foul play is suspected.
