Cape Air plane makes emergency landing after reported bird strike

HYANNIS
– A Cape Air Cessna 402C made an emergency landing at Barnstable Municipal Airport after a reported bird strike. Reports indicated the bird impacted  the windshield. There was damage to the windshield but the plane put down safely. The pilot was the only one on board and was not injured. The plane was taken to a hangar to await repairs.
