Shortly after noon on Sunday, Harwich Police and Fire-Rescue were dispatched to the area of 718 Main St for the report of a 4 car motor vehicle collision with injuries. Upon arrival of rescuers it was determined that there were 3 cars involved, all with relatively minor damage, and the vehicles were out of the main travel portion of the roadway. Harwich Firefighters mitigated a minor fluid spill from one of the vehicles while Medics evaluated the drivers and passengers involved. All parties refused further medical attention or transport, and the scene was turned over to the Police. Traffic was reduced to 1 alternating lane on Main St between Bank St and RT 124. The crash is under the investigation of the Harwich Police.
