CAPE COD – Light snow was falling across the Cape Saturday morning causing slippery conditions. In Harwich, a pickup struck a utility pole shortly before 7 a.m. The pole at Pleasant Lake Avenue (Route 124) and Sequattom Road was snapped forcing the road to be closed in the area. The driver was not injured.
Meanwhile, 417 Eversource customers in Falmouth and Sandwich had no power Saturday morning. The cause of the outage was not immediately clear.
By 9:45 a.m. The outage map was showing Sandwich restored but 502 customers in Falmouth were without power.
As of 10:45 a.m. over 1,500 customers in Bourne were without power.
