YARMOUTH – At Tuesday’s Yarmouth Board of Selectman’s meeting Yarmouth Fire had an official “swearing in” of the Deputy Fire Chief Jon Sawyer and Lt. James Roberts. They had received their promotions months ago, but tonight were publicly recognized. The recognition couldn’t have happened on a better night. On Tuesday the department battled a building fire in a business on Route 28 (see story here).
