Provincetown firefighters battle house fire

PROVINCETOWN – Provincetown firefighters were called to a house fire sometime after 8:30 PM Saturday evening. According to reports the fire was in a wall behind a gas stove at 258A Bradford Street. Additional engines from Truro and Wellfleet responded to the scene. Crews had to open the wall and pull part of a ceiling down to completely extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported. The occupant was displaced by the fire and was reportedly offered shelter at a nearby hotel.
