Provincetown Police seek information in car vs bicycle incident


PROVINCETOWN
From Provincetown Police: On Friday (August 09th), just after 12 PM, a bicycle rider reported being brushed by the mirror of a passing vehicle on Bradford Street Extension near West Vine Street close to Gale Force Bikes. This connection caused the bike rider to fall and injure himself. The biker returned home after the incident and police were not called until about 45 minutes later. The victim reported to police two other bike riders traveling in the area helped him at the scene but left before the crash was reported. There was also a report of landscapers working with leaf-blowers in the area who could also not be found when the police arrived. The victim remembers seeing a metallic red SUV with a square back, which may or may not be connected. Vehicle traffic was heavy at the time of the collision.
