Provincetown Police seek person who stole bike from J1 worker

PROVINCETOWN
– The Provincetown Police are looking to identify the person depicted in these surveillance photos.

This person road off with a bicycle owned by one of our J1 student workers and was taken from the Stop & Shop. The bike in question is a men’s red Trek with a grey bell and a metal rack over the rear tire.

We know the photo quality is not great, but it’s the best we have . Take a good look and note the dark hat with a patch and embroidery on the rim of the hat. In addition to dark sunglasses, there is the distinct yellow “rope like” holder draping down onto the rear of the dark shirt. The square shaped shoulder bag had both horizontal stripes and a patch at each lower corner.

If you can help us with this, please call us at 508-487-1212 or PM us. (Reference case # 18-437-OF)

If you wish to remain anonymous you can send your information to the Provincetown Police Tip Line 508-487-2828, calls are not traced. You can also report information anonymously by email at [email protected].
