Provincetown woman facing A&B with dangerous weapon charge after Truro incident


TRURO
– From Truro Police: On Saturday at 11:34 PM, Officers of the Truro Police Department were dispatched to Town Hall Road in Truro for a reported assault. Upon arrival, Officer discovered a female who sustained injuries to her head, toe, and hand during an altercation between her and a second female, later identified as Amber Seyffert, 40, of Provincetown. Seyffert left the scene prior to officers’ arrival. A description of Seyffert and her vehicle were distributed to neighboring agencies and later located by the Provincetown Police Department. Seyffert was taken in to custody without incident and transported to the Truro Police Department for booking.

Seyffert will be arraigned on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at the Orleans District Court for the following offense:

• Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon

The incident remains under investigation by the Truro Police Department.
