Nicolas Cope
WAREHAM – From Wareham Police: On Thursday, October 11, at about 10:30 a.m. Nicolas Cope, 27, of Onset was arrested by Officers Steven Joy and Ryan Gomes, as the result of a warrant being issued by the Plymouth District Court. The arrest was made on East Central Avenue, where Mr. Cope was located sitting in a car.

On Saturday, October 13, at about 4:20 p.m. Wareham Police officers responded to Parker Drive for a reported disturbance. Callers reported that the incident may involve a machete. Officer Eric Machado was unable to locate the machete; however a belligerent male was arrested at the scene. Ryson Joseph, 30, of Wareham was charged with disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.

On Sunday, October 14, at about 1:10 a.m. Officer Just Silveira was dispatched to Hathaway Street, for a report of a female passed out in a vehicle. Upon arrival in the area, Officer Silveira observed a running vehicle blocking traffic, facing the wrong direction, with a female inside. An on scene investigation determined that the operator was impaired. Kaitlyn Barros, 25, of Wareham was placed under arrest and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol. She is scheduled to appear in Wareham District Court on Monday morning.
