NEW DETAILS: Driver charged after rollover crash in South Yarmouth

SOUTH YARMOUTH – From Yarmouth Police: On Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 1032, Yarmouth Police and Fire Departments responded to a single vehicle rollover crash in the area of 134 Old Main Street in South Yarmouth.

First Responders arrived and found a 1999 Dodge Dakota had struck a utility pole and was on its side. The operator of the vehicle was injured. The operator was treated and transported him to Cape Cod Hospital suffering from non-life threatening injuries.

Police Officers investigating the crash met with the operator at Cape Cod Hospital and determined he was intoxicated and had been operating under the influence of alcohol.

The operator Marshall N. Baker, 41, of Dennis Port was identified and will be summonsed in to court on charges of operating under the influence of liquor, operating negligently to endanger, marked lanes violation, lights violation, and speeding.
