YARMOUTH – A single-vehicle crash slowed the afternoon commute along Route 6 eastbound in Yarmouth. The crash happened shortly before 4:30 PM on Route 6 past exit 8 but before the Great Western Road overpass when the vehicle went into the median. The Chevy Silverado pickup was deep in the woods and barely visible from the highway. A Wellfleet ambulance returning from the hospital came upon the scene and rendered aid. Yarmouth and Dennis responded to the scene.The crash is under investigation by State Police.
