BOSTON – A Sandwich woman is facing serious charges after a horrific incident in which two pedestrians were struck in Boston early Monday morning. The incident originated at the intersection of Kneeland Street and Harrison Avenue in the city’s Chinatown section. Officials allege 44-year-old Xiao Ying Zhao (right) dragged one of the victims down I-93 to Columbia Road, a distance of several miles. The 48-year old woman who was dragged is in critical condition at the Massachusetts General Hospital. The other victim, a 56-year-old man, suffered injuries that were not life-threatening. Boston Police continue to investigate the incident.
