SANDWICH – Sandwich Firefighters were called out after a chimney fire extended into the partition of a house. The call at 2 Mary Leal Lane came in about 9:15 AM. Crews were able to keep the flames from spreading any further. Smoke was ventilated from the residence. No injuries were reported. Mutual aid was called to cover the Sandwich fire stations.
