DENNIS – From Dennis Police: After an extensive search over two days, nothing was located in Scargo Lake after witnesses reported yesterday that they had seen a man swimming who appeared to be in distress and was heard calling for help. (See original story here).
The Barnstable County Dive Team as well as Massachusetts State Police dive team resources conducted a search of the lake using divers, sonar equipment, a helicopter and drones, but no signs of a victim were found.
As of today there have been no missing persons reported to the Dennis Police Department.
