HARWICH – A seagull caught in a kite line brought a call from Kathleen and David Greenberg to their home and a response from Animal Control Officer John Burns. Mr. Greenberg was able to throw a rope over the kite line that brought the seagull down. Officer Burns corralled the bird and transported the seagull to Wildcare in Eastham. The bird seemed okay except for an injured wing. Officer Burns emphasizes that fishing lines and kite strings are very hazardous to wild life.
