FALMOUTH – Falmouth Police report that due to a water main break, Main St in Falmouth will be closed to traffic at the intersection of Scranton Ave and Main St in front of the police department/recreation center. Thru traffic will be detoured from Nye Rd to Queen St to Scranton Ave to Robbins Rd to Falmouth Heights Rd Eastbound and Falmouth Heights Rd to Robbins Rd to Scranton Ave to Queen St to Nye Rd for Westbound traffic.
About 6 PM Falmouth Police reported the road was open again.
ORLEANS – Orleans Police report that there is a water main break on Pine Needle Way. Water services affected in that area. Use caution near Hopkins Lane as the water is turning to ice quickly. No sooner than repairs were completed there, another break was reported on Captain Curtis Way.
