HYANNIS – At about 2:30 p.m. Friday afternoon there was a two-vehicle crash on South Street at High School Road in Hyannis. A Volkswagen Passat sedan appeared to have struck a Toyota FJ Cruiser, which ended up on its side with the female driver trapped. The Hyannis Fire Department extricated the victim, who was transported to Cape Cod Hospital with unknown injuries. The occupants of the sedan, a woman and a child, were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. Barnstable Police are investigating the crash.
