EAST FALMOUTH – Falmouth Police report that on Tuesday at approximately 9:20 p.m., Falmouth Fire-Rescue responded to the report of a motor vehicle crash with injury in the area of Seapit Road and Waquoit Highway.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a Red 2005 GMC Sierra Pick-up truck traveling east on Waquoit Highway had left the roadway striking a sign and then two trees with its final place of rest down an embankment.
The male operator, Daniel G. Vincent, 33, of Cotuit MA, was alone in the vehicle and did not survive the crash.
The crash is still under investigation by the Falmouth Police Department.
