BOURNE – A player was seriously injured at the football field at the Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical School on Sandwich Road sometime before 4 PM. The injuries were serious enough for rescuers to call a MedFlight helicopter to land at Beth Israel Hospital in Plymouth to fly the victim to a trauma center. Further details were not immediately available.
